Create a community of Vendors and make business! This site is intended to be a demo platform for both our VMVendor suites: the Community Builder and Jomsocial versions. Both these profile management components are installed. If you want to test both of them , you should register with the CB registration form.

Important Notice: Now the whole suite is based on userid and not Vendor name anymore:
If you created your VMVendor setup before version 1.5.5 you will have to update your vendor entries in database.

This content plugin only shows on top of Virtuemart categories browse pages (evey categories or only children) to let logged in users add downloadable products to the current category. It is dedicated to replace the vmvendor_add module as it was not appropriate for sites with very large amount of categories. Thumbnail field has been removed as thumbnail is now generated automatically and imgae field not mandatory anymore. You need to enable Plugins/mambot support in Virtuemart. This plugin shows a form where user has to fill in the product name, description, price , file, image and a terms and condition check box. a User is made a vendor when adding first product. Submitted products will be listed in profile vmvendor plugin for CB or Jomsocial.

This is the JomSocial application plugin. It shows on profile a list of products the user has added to the shop. The user can customize the parameters of the list as: Show Item Picture, Show Item Sku#, Show File Extension, Show Item Category, Show Item Description, Show Item Price. Price currency, symbol, format, virtual taxes etc... are showing according to VM settings and visitor's shopper group. When clicking on the product from the profile, the visitor will be redirected to the virtuemart product page. |

This is the CB version. It shows on profile a list of products the user has added to the shop. The site admin can decide what parameters to show: Show Item Picture, Show Item Sku#, Show File Extension, Show Item Category, Show Item Description, Show Item Price. The table is sortable by price and paginated. Price currency, symbol, format, virtual taxes etc... are showing according to VM settings and visitor's shopper group. When clicking on the product from the profile, the visitor will be redirected to the virtuemart product page. |

Both Profile applications show each product sales to the profile owner (the sales as shown is only incremented when someone confirms an order, not a paiment...). Both profile applications allow users to edit their added items (and delete any or only those with no sales) with a simple form just like the 'add downloadable product' form

- mod_vmvendors.zip
This little module shows a list of vendors with avatar, vendor name and item count in a table. It can be sorted in many ways, latest, random, largest catalog or even any of these randomly. It supports both Community Builder and Jomsocial Profile management.
The suite is supposed to work with the great AUP component from www.alphaplug.com. Its purpose is to reward AUP points (as a virtual currency) to users/vendors for their sold items!
How does it work?
As soon as an order is validated and paid, the customer receives the download link. For each item at least downloaded once, the class gets the vendor id , the price paid by the customer (according to shopper group) and rewards credits (AUP points) to vendor according to a % set by the site admin... This requires a very easy , 1file modification in virtuemart. Everything is provided and explained in the package! NEW! plg_vm_sharethis content plugin (purchase separately)
This content plugin for Virtuemart products not only shows bookmarking buttons , page short url, fb like button or retweet but it now integrates VMVendor showing on the product page who uploaded the product with a link to vendor's profile. It also shows product's file extension and file size.
You can then use a VMVendor filtred activiy stream module or a shooutbox to have your new (autopublished) items announced to your community.
